We are a team of people spanning three generations – asking the same questions that you are. We are dying to lead well, care for ourselves and our families, and finish the journey well. We don’t have all the answers, nor will we ever, but we are committed to the journey, and long to pursue God with all that we’ve got. We want to constantly be listening, changing and taking steps toward our dreams. We have experience that has stood the test of time and that is being tested daily.

Tim Bohlke
Tim has spend the last 25 years building into the lives of leadership in a variety of roles and contexts. He has received a Bachelors in Education and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. He is certified in the leader and manager training at Gallup University. He is also a certified Life Planner/Coach and in collaboration with Authentic Leadership he is a certified facilitator of Pause Events. Both Life Planning and Pause, are intensive leadership development experiences for strategic leaders in ministry and business.
In addition to being a husband and father, Tim has experienced the challenging, difficult and sometimes rough seas of leadership as a teacher, coach, and counselor. Tim was Executive Director of one of the larger Youth for Christ chapters in the country for 15 years. During his watch, and at times in spite of himself, he saw God grow the ministry from 2 to over 40 salaried employees, and remaining relentlessly committed to its mission, significantly widened its impact, and remained passionate about building into the lives of leaders at all levels. Most recently he is the Directional Pastor over multiple areas of ministry at Lincoln Berean Church.
Through all of these experiences, and through the journey of personal failures and successes, he has remained passionate about creating a “harbor”, a place he has needed many times himself, that would come alongside leaders, reminding them of God’s grace, forgiveness and restoration. A place that will encourage them to keep seeking the mystery of God’s calling, to keep pursuing God, to live life with a sense of rhythm, to invest deeply in their families. and to understand what it means to finish well.
He’s a fortysomething.
Ben Harms
The loud, scrappy and overly passionate one of the bunch, Ben recently finished his master’s degree at Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle, Wa. Previously working with Campus Life for six years, he oversaw multiple high school and middle school ministries. With a vision and passion for what the church could become, Ben is a dreamer, and plans to chase those dreams in the coming near future, yet still has not idea what that exactly looks like…
Coming from a broken home from which his father was an overseas missionary, pastor, and even marriage and family counselor, he knows first hand just how desperately leaders need to learn to care for themselves and families before they ever try to take on the world. He and his wife Whitney (he married up…way up), also shoot wedding photography for a living. He likes to make fun of the fact that Kyle has a sweet floral print luggage set.
He’s a twentysomething.
Kyle Dellevoet
Despite the fact that Kyle has a floral printed, matching luggage set, he is actually a connoisseur of all things trendy. Kyle currently runs a campus ministry at his alma mater the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He has spent the last eleven years ministering to college and high school students in a variety of settings including church, para-church, and house church settings. he and His wife Jody are the parents of four crazy boys: Reese, Payton, Jackson, and Hudson.
Kyle has a deep seeded passion and gifting for reaching this next generation. Specifically he desires to see young guys reach their full potential as followers of Christ and as next generation leaders. Did we mention that he REALLY does have a floral printed matching luggage set?
He’s a thirtysomething.
Scott Christiansen
Growing up in Lincoln, Nebraska Scott was introduced to the three loves of his life: Jesus, his wife Cathy, and Nebraska football. Scott’s relationship with Jesus so transformed his life that he left his job as a high school teacher to become a full-time youth pastor. He has since become the senior pastor at Westwood Church in Omaha, Nebraska where he leads a vibrant community dedicated to building God’s Kingdom.
Scott married his high school sweetheart and not they have three sons. He is most alive when he is spending time with jacob, Benjamin, and Zachary. Rumor has it that he has Herbie the Husker underwear… the rumor goes unconfirmed of course.
He’s a fortysomething.

Dale Philips
‘Once upon a time. . .’ Ever since he was a kid Dale has loved stories. If he couldn’t find a story to read, watch or listen to he’d make one up. Now into his 6thdecade, Dale still loves stories. He sees the Bible as one grand story filled with stories all meant to impact our story. Some highlights from his own story are: receiving and walking in Jesus, accepting the greatest gift ever given him (beside Jesus) his wife Beth, being blessed with 3 great kids – two young adults in Omaha, one in heaven and recently welcoming a daughter-in-law into the family.
Whether serving on staff at churches, as a long term pastor or following the Lord into a story centered ministry venture – CareActor Inc.–Dale’s passion has been and is helping others find and live out God’s dream for them as they live out of their stories. Dale is honored and privileged to be helping persons do just that as they come into the relational network of Harbor Ministries.
He’s a sixtysomething.
